I just use a 2 gig card because I usually download after each flight, so I am not anywhere near going to fill it. Plus, as has already been stated, the battery won't last long enough anyway...

Ok, i think I found the secret spot for 450s. On top of the battery of course! I didnt get any vibes here. Note: I posted this video to show the quality, not to be squawked at by safety police.

Charging? Battery life?

This seems to be an issue.

For those that are having success, what method do you use? Length of time on USB?

Mine went to crap for time but it seems I've either got it charged up better or revived the battery. Likely the former...

Plug it in until the yellow light go's out...Thats the way I understood the instructions. This is how it reads,"

Charge : charging yellow light on long time, when full lights off "

If you ever have a hard time getting it to shut off or some other wierd thing...you guys know about the reset button? Little bitty hole on the side, use a paperclip to access.

Thanks. I was concerned about how warm it gets and never let it go that far.

I'll see how it goes then I guess.

Got my cam ( Little $14 dollar job 2 gig card ) today and stuck it on the Brushless F-27C. Its 10 deg. outside didnt want to try the Heli. These little cam's rock. It was pointed a little high and my gloves made flying tricky. Flying under the power lines was a little un-nerving, since I haven't flown in awhile ( sept the sim...zzzz), Try not to puke the video is shakey. Had to keep turning because the things fast and covers some ground quick. Battery cut out before landing at my feet...Damn the luck. I'll re-adjust the cam and try again tomorrow.

For those of you with a Fry's Electronics handy, they're selling Patriot 4GB Class 4 Micro SDHC cards for $10 through Tuesday. You can usually find similar deals each week, but I figured I'd better pick one up while I thought of it. Now I just have to wait for my camera to get here.

Thank you sir... Yes they most certainly are...I've decided that tomorrows vid will be much slower and level. I also added about 3 deg. downward camera angle to hopefully keep the horizon in sight during level flight. I laughed at all the responces I got.... ....My Bad....Its painful to fly slow

Here is an attempt to use the cam as a hat cam. Seemed to work out well, I always wonder what my head did when I flew. The helicopter was my old Falcon 3D rtf that I went flybarless on just for giggles. I never use the thing so I figured it would hurt to mess around. It was a handful but it was kind of fun.

Another hat cam test with the high vis 450. I have found that one of those metal document butterfly clips holding a velcro strap to the bill of a baseball hat holds the camera on just fine. It was cold and damp but still fun, though I wasn't on top of my game. This was also the first time using the DX-7 since doing the bearing mod, it does feel a bit better actually flying, though there may be a hint of placebo effect. My car always drives better after I wash it too.

Pretty cool turning a Falcon 3d to FBL. Which 3d axis gyro are you using on it?
