Converting to 350's is great when you have s porky 450. But it seems wasteful here.
Have you ever flown a 350mm blade? It's not just about power to weight etc. A 350 is more floater and has much better visbility in the air. My skills are rubbish but even I can tell the difference in the air between a 350 and 325 blades heli.

From the video it really seems like it's a downsized 500 Protos: Exact same frame layout but the head seems all metal.
This is exactly what i wanted!

Yes I've tried some 350mm 450's and I really liked it. You kind of proved my point when you used the word "floatier". It feels this way because the disk loading is much better. Reducing the weight of the heli has the same effect. If you like this feeling, you shouldn't have sold your Protos.

I will sell my 450 pro kit to buy this, however is it lighter? I don't think so?

flying weight of 450 pro is listed as 780 grams. If this is 600 grams without a battery then it is going to be as heavy or heavier than a 450 pro which is a little surprising as the pro is built like a tank.

Do not believe the Align weight specs. Just put her on a scale, and you will see

I dunno but everywhere the 450 pro is being sold online lists the same.

approx flying weight 780 grams.

so with a 190gram hyperion that makes the no-battery weight 590 grams

But I don't have pro kit to weigh yet so maybe the advertised flying weight is wrong.

Corrado, will you offer kit options with FBL heads for both the Protos and mini me?

Also, will a longer boom and lower kV motor be an option for those that insist on 350mm?

My 450 Pro is around 680g without batt. I cannot see anyway of shaving more than 10-20g off.

Ok there you go Corrado, vindicated, I guess the advertised flying weight of 780 grams for a pro is with a 1000 mah 3s pack that lasts approximately a minute!

We knew about mini me last June and we were expecting to see it at the last IRCHA. So we've been waiting a really long time for this. At this rate, we won't see the MSH 600 until 2012.

I assume the design isn't done yet since it doesn't take 6 months to go from blessed prototype to production..
