The 4G6 is my second heli, I had an mSR for three weeks before I got the 4G6 and I have not found it hard at all. After a week I can now hover with no issues.
I have started to have some stability problems after switching to the novus CP main shaft, I think I will put a 4g6 shaft back in and re-run my setup... |

And I have been using a plain stereo to mono adapter plug with my 2801 pro TX and it works just fine. And as someone pointed out in this sites phoenix forum, you just need to use the adapter to start up the TX in pclink mode and then you can plug in the phoenix cable directly. (Because of its position the adapter plug gets in the way when you are sitting down.)

So I started this thread a bit ago.... I just got the sim in the mail today and put about 4 hours on it. Good thing my wife is an understanding woman.
By my calculations I have destroyed about $50,000 worth of RC Helis tonight. Going back to the Daveteauk comment about the compatibility issues that may be had with the TX systems. This should not be an issue as long as you have a port for a PC interface on your TX and it be compatible/adaptable to the USB link for the simulator. During the calibration it will ask what type of TX is being used. If it is not on the pre-named list it will simply be calibrated and named as an unknown TX. All gimbals and switches will do their jobs as they should. |
