I'm using the stock blades. The one thing that I did and seemed to help on the SK720 was lower the start/stop accel on the tail tab to 20 and 25. But this would depend on what tail servo you have.

I just installed a set of kbdd tails on my vbar Protos. So far, so good. I'm liking them better than the stock blades. I did also replace the stock cf tail fin with one from Experience that is 12-15mm longer so as to protect the blades during autos.

MSH Orange tail blades (and paddles) for me. They hold reasonably well and look the business.

I am running the stock blades with SK360, GY520 & S9257 without any issues. Great hold, piro rate, etc.

I had a S9257 for a long time, but it didn't completely like KBDD tails, even when they were trimmed down a few mm. When I switched to Align DS650 full size tail servo it handles much better with my KBDD tails than with stock blades. So if you don't think your tail is quite authoritative, try a full size tail servo.
