Default Align metal servo wheels

I wounder when Align will make metal servo wheels for the 3G? Like the plastic ones they make now. I am woried about them stripping.

I dont think the plastic wheels will strip,but if you put on metal servo wheel,in a crash you will end up stripping the servo gears!!

I read somewhere that's why there plastic. There designed to strip in the event of a crach so it doesn't take out your servo gears (or the servo for that matter).

I have seen servos almost completely destroyed because a metal arm was used with metal gear servos. Better to use plastic ones as sacrificial weak points.
Personaly I love the Align servo wheels and I am looking to purchase the new ones that have developed for the flybarless heads.

+1 Metal arms will likely destroy your metal geared servo in a crash. You will have a hard time stripping out a plastic arm in flight.
