I guess I could post this one.. farily "big" and smooth I suppose. Its pushing a year old though. I'll for sure get a video just for this thread once this storm ends (6 weeks or so)

And now for something totally different.

This vid is from two winters ago, showing me working on slow circles and eights in my garage with my HBFP. I think this sort of experience helped me out a lot when I started flying bigger birds.

Default Updated to Vimeo for full soundtrack

OK, I'll play

This is a video back from 2006 at the Port Charlotte Fun Fly. Youtube has done a masterful job of ruining my soundtrack, but you still get the picture...

Lovin' this thread. Made me realize I need to work on basics a lot more. Sorry its a Phoenix vid but I'm about to get clockwise inverted down. Time to start counterclockwise.

Ok so before I bought a 450 and 500, I flew a BL FP pretty well -- this is what I could do w that in a controlled manner in a tight space. (Am I the only guy who kept their FP?) Anyway, you may not have ever seen a FP with this much headspeed.

He's looking for examples of controlled and precise flying, not the typical "I'm standing in fire ants and my rudder servo is jammed full over" kind of flying.

Very cool, you only loose marks because you were tail in the whole flight!
Do this same flight, and have the heli nose in or better still.... be pirouetting the whole time, and you will be on the mark!
I know I could not do that same flight with my 250, way to unstable for that!

I like to think this is pretty controlled considering this is my 1st time flying indoor

This was taken over the summer. I try to aim for a mixture of aggressive and smooth 3D. Only 1.5 yr experience when this video was taken.

Awhile ago there was a video posted of a Raptor over a forest lake, the flying was super slow and controlled, the soundtrack was good and the pilot dipped his skids into the lake - would love to see that one again! Just can't find it!
