Default Battery, Charger, balancer Question

Ok first off, I had to take a break for a year and a half. I have a T-Rex pro V2. I flew with the (lame) Align batteries and they are all puffed. Two sets, no big deal.

I use an AstroFlight lipoly delux charger. I have an AstroFlight Blinky balancer.

I have one FlightPower EVO25 2170 3s 11.1V Battery which I changed the balancer plug to support the blinky. I was also able to get the astroflight blinky converter for the FlightPower batteries.

I would like at least one more battery pack. What about these?

FlightPower Eon-X Lite 2100mAh 3S 11.1V 25C

Is this comparable? To the EVO? Will either Balancer work? The Blinky w/ the AstroFlight Converter?

Or should I dump the Blinky and go with the Equinox LiPo Balancer?

Thanks in advance.

yeah, I got the turnigy zippy's too. They are cheap and everyone that uses them say they've never had a problem with them.

So will the Blinky work with that balancer lead?

The FP batteries use a smaller tap. The Zippy/Turningy/Rhino/Align batteries all use a JST-XH tap which needs no adapters to plug in to the blinky. I have 3 blinky's myself and they have been the best balancers I've ever used. Not very powerful, but they are accurate as heck man! I personally despise the FP/TP taps, especially when you get over 3S because they use two freakin connectors instead of a single one and I always have issues with getting them to initialize on any of my chargers, plus the pins are so small that they pop out of the plastic of the tap unless you glue them...FTW. Get some good batteries with the JST-XH connectors and (charging) life becomes wonderful.

Default charger for 3s batteries

guys,

I am a beginner (a few weeks now) with a Honeybee FP v2.
I have started to look into charger for the 4 3s batteries I have . I am leaning towards a charger that has the integrated powersupply since I will be flying mostly near an outlet anyway. Any suggestions?
