Post Crash-proof your front tail gear!

Since the 4#6 tail is quite similar to the 4G6, I think it may have the same problem of the front tail gear stripping in crashes.

This mod that worked for the 4G6 might help solve that issue!

If you never stripped your front tail gear in a crash, then this mod is pretty useless for you.

If you do then, I hope you followed the links in thread I've linked. This is from the tail mod thread:

Quote:
This mod lets your external bevel gear slip in a crash or other accidents that cause the tail rotor to stop while the main rotor is turning, thus, eliminating the issue of gear stripping without compromising your drive train!
It's pretty straightforward, if the bevel gear don't slip, the front gear will strip. If the bevel slipped, you won't get your front gear stripped. The slipping bevel will take quite many slips before needing replacement.
