Default Can't connect vBar to computer

Hi all,
I had to replace a couple of servo gears after a crash and I need to redo swash setup in VStabi. Trouble is, I haven't touched anything since I got it dialled in about 2 years ago and I've forgotten some about how to do it.

It's a Blue Mini-VBar. I think it has 5.2 or 5.1 on it. Maybe only 4.x? I really have no idea.

I have a new laptop with OS X Yosimite.

I downloaded the current (5.3) software and followed the steps.

1) TX
2) Heli
3) connect USB
4) Launch Vstabi.

But I got this error:

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Will it not work on Yosimite? Do I need to dig out an old computer to give it a try?

I used my satellite on another heli in the meantime but I rebound it to the TX in a AR8000 before plugging it back into the VBar.

In my experience this has been a driver issue.

I think you can find the mac driver installer where you downloaded the setup application. Reinstall and just to be certain, reboot your mac.

VBar software needs to match the version of the firmware you have on the VBar. Having said that, your error is driver related, in the folder of the downloaded software is the driver software, ONLY run this with the VBar not plugged in to the USB port.

Default Had the same problem

If your still having the problem, shut down the computer and unplug, then hook up the helicopter, power up the TX, then power to the v-bar,plug in and power up the computer and launch the v-bar program. I had to do that only once,

Make sure that you have no Bluetooth dongle plugged in. You can't have bt and USB connected at the same time.
