Hey this unit might actually cause the $450 ones to start cutting prices to compete...Gotta love price competition...

Afterall we all know they really could sell them for less and still turn a profit, but why should they when they know there the best and ppl still buy at the high prices...

With laptops costing $400, my 2 cents says $150-$200 is a fair price for FBL

GL, will be on the lookout for flight reports!

BTW: There down to 10+ from 498?? WOW THEY SOLD QUICK!

What does the cost of laptops have to do with the cost of FBL systems? That's like saying with gas costing so much these days.. my house should only cost $50,000 instead of $150,000.

10 in stock.Hurry boys.lol...

But....$170 + $100 for the FBL head + shipping from HK = more than I want to pay.

Align 3G with head and CF blades for a Trex 500 is $324 and $309 without blades with free delivery anywhere.

There's still 485 in stock so don't worry too much. You have to go through the categories and use 'list' mode to see the true inventory numbers.

Well I pulled the trigger. I glanced over the manual and it talks about turning on Piro Comp so I assume this is the latest version (v3?) of the SJGD/Axiom.

I'm sooo tired of waiting for my Total G to come in... at least with this I'm guaranteed to be able to fly my 700 this year

Hey Slyster, I went with EMS shipping, so there's a tiny chance it could be here in time for our funfly next Saturday at 3DRC. If not, I'm cannibalizing the V-Bar from the Protos

At any rate, I'll be sure to post my review.

Someone from HF already rated the Turnigy FBL with only 2 stars saying "it's just like....." and they didn't even try it! That's unethical. I use reviews a lot to choose products and cringe if I thought people are reviewing things they haven't tried. No one has confirmed anything yet.. and maybe they made changes who knows?

The manual is on the product page, just click the "files" tab by the reviews.

On further review of it, the software might be V2.0; the title says "Flybarless System 2.0" in big bold letters. The Piro Comp might not be available yet, but hopefully it's upgradeable like I believe the SJGD FS600 is (please correct me if I'm wrong).
