Default Gain using travel adjust

Its been a few years since I've flown and I'm getting back in to it with a 250.

I got it in a trade and I've been going through it setting every thing up and double checking it all. I've decided to use the travel adjust for the gyro instead of the gyro sense menu. I like the idea of a finer resolution. It took two nights of fiddling with it to get the gyro/servo/radio set up so that everything works right.

Now I just need to set the gain levels. Any ideas on a good starting point for the 250?

Im using the 750 gyro and a ds420 servo with 40mm cf tailblades

Thanks
Ken

Mines pretty low -- most micro birds enjoy a low (22) gain number -- the easiest way to find out is to start @ 60 --lowering in 10s till the wag stops

I also like using travel adjust on the gear channel for gain adjustment, and this also allow the 750gyro to be switched between rate mode and HH mode by flipping the gear switch. Be sure to set your "Gyro Sens" to INH, but you probably already know that. I started with 40 on my 450 Pro and ended up at 25 with a rock solid tail and absolutely no wag. This is with a Spartan Quark gyro and 760ms Outrage tail servo.
