@soul Good looking 550 there! Nice canopy as well, which blades are you running? Looks like Align or Edge from the bottom.. 550 or 520mm? You'll love the 550! When I flew mine I put my 450 on sale, no joke. Convert it to a DFC head, done it myself and it completely turned it into a different helicopter! Loving it! Only thing is you gotta watch out if you're running 550mm mains to have 85mm tails or else they will touch in flight. If you have 520mm mains, you can use 90mm tails.

I've actually never had it go off during flight. - its a 2600mah pack so I can get about 8 flights out of it before needing a charge. It has an LED voltage display there so I can always just check at a glance when I land or before I take off to see where i'm at.

im using standard align 520mm main blades, and 90mm tail blades.

for now, they should be perfect for me. the 550 is hovering and simple circuits for me for now. my 130x and nano cpx are where i practice(and crash) new things outside of the sim.

Very shinny Paul trex....

Are you happy with the new motor? Are you in a position to compare it to the 600mx motor?

DON'T restrict any airflow over the Talon, they get warm. Keeping it cool & not using internal bec will make it last longer..

Hey was wondering if anybody can explain why the dfc ball links don't fit the swash on my 550e v2 . They are way to loose. have ordered the dfc swash hoping this will get me closer to getting this bird in the air

Did you convert it from FB? If so you need to change out two of the upper swash balls for the 5mm FBL balls. The FBL version will already have these balls installed.

Just wanted to share my canopy I received from Fusuno for my 550. It's a totally different shape. It's longer and wider which looks even better.
