Default battery life help!

Ive had my Blade Nano for about 3 years now. I bought it with two E-flite 25C (1S 3.7v 150 mAh LiPo) batteries. I use the provided E-flite USB LiPO charger ([email protected]). Those batteries lasted about a year before going south. I then purchased two more, and those batteries only lasted about 2 months. I bought two more, and within another couple months, those went south.

I havent changed my flying habits...I wait until the battery is fully charged, then fly until the low batt indicator turns on, then recharge.

Why am I getting such short life now?

Flying to the low voltage cutoff is really hard on batteries. I time my flights so the batteries are at 3.78 volts per cell. I sort of treat the 2S batteries for my MCPX BL as a consumable since they are so cheap and not as resilient as the bigger batteries.

If you have a power supply I've found on these little 1S ones charging them to 4.4V with a 300mA current limit can extend their lifetime once they start going.

Get good batteries (like Pulse at Helidirect) and never store full. Also store at 3.8v/cell or so.
