The advantage is that you will get a more accurate tail, less flex in the pushrod.

I like the Align one, any idea when it's going to be available? Anyone?

Will this work on the 700N or just the 700E?

http://www.helidirect.com/align-alum...pro-p-7927.hdx

The diminsions for the stock control rod for the 700N say that it is 778mm.

The dimensions for the carbon control rod say that it is 760mm.

18mm is quite a bit shorter. Is the bell crank farther back on a 700E?

I would love to run this on my 700N but I dont think it will work. Has anyone tried it on a nitro?

J.

My guess is that the 760mm does not include the extra threaded rod at each end of the carbon rod hence the reason why it is shorter than the stock metal push rod. It's only a guess though.

According to the Align Manuals, both the 700E and 700N use a 778mm rudder pushrod, so I would assume that the 760mm length measurement on Aligns site represents the length of the carbon rod, not counting the aluminum ends.

I am going to get my LHS to bring one in, well a few, some other guys want it too. I will compare the lengths and report back. I dont think he will be able to order until next week, but it looks like it is available.

I like the Blue and white F3C tail fins in the pic too.
