Finally got mine back in the air after being a hangar queen for over a year. It's still a fantastic heli!

I kept waiting for one of those light poles to jump out and bite you.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm kinda surprised one of those poles hasn't bitten me.

Nice one Chris (even you posted that from last year).

I got reminded by my miniP that is in must-keep-helis-shelf calling my name, It just needs an fbl controller and some blades which i readily have. It has a Yep 40a which is more than adequate for this frame as it's very light.

I just can't believe this one -clicky- has not sold yet.

Since I shot that video I made a trade for a Protos 380. Now my poor Mini Protos is truly a shelf queen. The 380 is really that good...

Same here, mine might end up in a scale body as otherwise it is just sitting on the self.

Yeah, got one (an Evo) for cheap last December after waiting since introduction. Still the top dog from 360 to 420.

I was thinking of a rebuild on the miniP cause i got a great deal on a used
Spirit Red. Instead i bought two NIB Chase kits -clicky- Itís also one of the classic multibelt designs iíve really been wanting to own.

I couple of damn good fliers that iíve been talking with in private and own both the Chase and Protos (and Goblin 380), they both said that the Chase at 380 stretch is up there with the Protos. Letís see how it turns out. I sold my Goblin few weeks after building it (with full telemetry) . Didnít like it.

Yep, my Goblin 380 wasn't in my stable for long. In fact, neither was the 570. Just never could get either of them to "feel" right. <shrug>

Interesting about the Chase, I've never flown one. Let us know how it goes!

OK, dumped my little beauty from page 30 of this thread in a lake...never to be heard from again.

Such a nice little 6S machine weighing in at 1.95lbs AUW, I had to make another one. Was hard to find some of the bling parts now - seems like the world has moved-on from the MP. So let's try this again...ha!

BTW - anyone interested in selling me a Lynx CNC 'Y' pinion support bracket (lx1185) please PM me.

Thanks for the comment. I came late to the Mini Protos party. MSH was more premium than Align at the time and never thought I could justify the expenditure back then. But then I realized I was putting-in all those $$$ to get a Trex to fly tight.

So, I have one more set of side-frames and when they're gone I think that's it for this jewel.

I'm quite lucky as when I bought my first Mini Protos it came with loads of spares including some GF Flouro frames that Fusuno used to make, then when Lynx werre ditching their M-P spares I bought loads of them at bargain prices (things like a complete Lynx tail case for $3.99, fins for $0.99 etc.) I bought about $45 worth and got a mass of stuff.

Inevitably the next time I need something it'll be the part that I don't have, but hopefully that won't be for a while.

Oh, and I have previously repaired my frames when they split (near the motor mounts) by gluing on small pieces of CF to strengthen the frame where it had broken - It looks horrible but it's probably stronger than it was to start with....

I've got a pretty good stash of parts as well. And even though I've also got a Protos 380 (which is awesome) I still keep my Mini P flying because it's so darn good.

Besides, I've had it since they were first released... it's like part of the family now!
