Default E550 on 5S?

Just wondering if my current Swift setup will work in the E550. I have Z30A-1100, 5S TP3300's.
Not looking for hard 3D, still stuck at the odd flip/roll here and there.

Thanks in advance

I guess it should work but might be a little slow. I've just ordered an E550 and the Century 600 Plus motor (Z30A-1100 in drag). I've got 3700 6S packs for my Swift and 4900 6S packs for the Trex 600 and I'm guessing the 4900 packs would be best. Running your setup through ReadyHeli's headspeed calculator your setup would give 1650 using the supplied 10T pinion which is a little on the low side, 1800 would be more comfortable and you'd need an 11T pinion for this but with 3300's they may not be up to the current draw and flights would be pretty short imho.

I'm aiming for a headspeed around 2000, more would be better but I'm intending to put the E550 into a fuselage, I don't want to loose the performance of the Swift or Trex 600

Cheers, looks like I'll stick with the Swift for now.
