Yep the elevator servo is a pretty big give away. Would be cool though.

Not a give away at all!!
You are looking at it through the hole in the right frame, just like in any other align heli.
Just compare the sizes of the horns and you will see that the elevator is smaller cause it further away.

Is there not a wire coming out of the other side of the sensor? perhaps the programing box is on the left side with the Throttle servo, loads of room for one of those up next to the RX pack? Real, prototype, one off, I just want to see the damn thing fly, cause that would be cooool!

There is no programming box and that one sensor is the whole 3G system. It is just like the micro beast and mini vbar, a one box fbl solution.

There is something to be said about the above statement.

I have read some (at least a few) articles, indicating that Align was developing the very thing that you are talking about. Could it be a new "3GS"?

It will all be speculation until there is some other "proof" posted. When, and if that happens, there will still be skeptics posting that it can't be.

Looks like 4 servos plugged into the other side of the box -3 cyclics and a tail servo. If this is a fake then they have gone to an incredible amount of trouble with it -new frames, a new 3g system, the plastic braces underneath the engine. It looks pretty convincing to me but it does seem like a strange product choice for Align so I'd think it's more likely to be a one off but who knows?

Just another thought... the cable from the rx to the "3G-S" looks like it has 5 separate wires. Surely there would need to be at least 6? 4 signal wires for each servo plus a positive and negative power cable. And then what about the gyro gain? Seems a bit odd?

Everyone is getting trolled by blink. Good job though Blink, 9 page troll post. IMO you can tell how butchered and fake it is by the first picture. Look at where the landing gear meets the "Align" starter.

Back OT. If they made a Nitro 250, I would probably buy one just to have something nobody else at the field has. Not sure if I would keep it after more showed up at the field, but might if it is that fun.

I'd buy one just for the novelty.

That would probably account for 75% of the hypothetical sales of this unconfirmed bird. Once the neat factor wears off I doubt it would stay in production for long, unless they revolutionize tiny IC engines.

Well, of course it's a real photo. The question is whether it actually works or is it just a model of concept.

If it's an actual release candidate, sign me up!

I do think this is real.

we have heard of 450's being turned in to nitro's that are not align products, so i'd say some one created a 250 version. yes they went to alot of work to make this happen and it looks great. id love to see it fly.

one other thing that does not make this an align prototype is the gyro doesn't look like an align gyro to me.

What people want and what they buy are two completely different things

How is the elevator servo a give away?

It's mounted on the other side of the heli and you can just see the servo through the frame...

The picture is real I think. As csdstudio said, the question is, does it work?

Personally, I don't like it, the 250 is hard enough to work on as it is. Nevermind with an engine on it.
