Default Walkera CB180Z & WK 2801PRO

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing my first FP Walkera CB180Z Pro. WOW Hobbies offers three different packages and there seems to be three different radios 2801, 2402, 2403
I understand one is programmable and one is not. Can someone shed some light on the pros and cons? I am not sure if I should go with a fully programmable or not?? Or is it just over kill.

Remember this is my FP heil..

Below is what WOW advertises

Upgraded CB180Z-PRO Wind-Rider & WK2403 transmitter with dual rate which allow for tame or wild windy condition flights at a flip of a switch. It also has throttle limit adjustments. The upgraded CB180Z-PRO implements the extended servo travel and is much more agile than the stock versions. It flies well in light wind.

Thanks again!! RZRFUN111

Well it all depends how far you want to go in this hobby. If you plan on getting a CP heli in the future, I would recommend going for the 2801 pro (although Walkera has shifted to the Devo TX's now)
If not get the cheapest TX with the heli and you're done!

With the devo coming on board, does this mean that 2801 will be obsolete?

On all the new bnf helis so far they have wk2xxx and devo versions. For the time being I think they have to support the old line given the large user base, Besides, since I don't care about new releases the 2801pro is all the tx I need. If you think you might want bnf Walkeras in the future the new devo 8/12s with telemetry is likely a good investment
