In this paper canopy sticky, it is worth mentioning that a talented contributer called 3vw has designed a paper goblin canopy. It is amazing. Here's a link to the thread. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=404304

I would post the PDF file here, but can't figure out how from my phone. Maybe somebody else will post it.
This is what it looks like without the tail section.

Default shitty weather -> new canopy

Just finished another one of my F1 inspired canopies.

I personally like the version with the yellow window tint better, but I guessed with popping red windows it´s better to see.

Happy folding

I see what you did there, hehe! Are those stickers on the blades? Always thought about a way to match them to the canopy design. Nicely done!

In case of more bad weather, would you please make some for the Nano in the same design?

Used some dye on the blades, paint works too. Yes I snagged one of your Martini's. Makes me want to race pylons. Thanks a lot for all the ones you post here they're great!

Today, print, and try to glue the test model. Texture and then redrawn

Thought I share some pics of the finished canopy. Just have to drill some holes for the posts. Very happy with it!

Now on to build a second one for bashing

I have totally missed this thread. Great idea with these paper canopies

How do I get these canopies in the correct size? Is it just to click on any of you pdf links and print them out or do I need to make any changes in the print settings?

These canopies are already sized for the mCPX. So just print it out and make sure your printer isn't trying to stretch the image to fit the paper. Just print at it's default size and you should be good to go.

I've been through the whole thread multiple times, and although I have seen a few recolorings of the trex canopy, I haven't seen a texture template of the sort made available in this post. But maybe I missed it?

Ok, I found something buried in the 3dMAX zip file, so I'll try that.
