Default DX8 slow motion???

I'm experiencing an issue with the response speed of my DX8.
I've noticed for some time that regardless of the model that i use this TX on, the servos seem quiet slow in motion. so, for a test, i BOUND up my DX7se to the same models.... and OMG!!!! the speed was lightning fast in comparison to my DX8... WTF?!!!

While viewing the DX8 in monitor mode i can see the issue there too. if i quickly move the sticks from one extreme to another i can see that the monitor dots take a bit more time to reach the given stick position... every motion is playing "catch -up"... totally NOT the case with my DX7se. It happens on all stick inputs as well.

Has ANYONE else experienced this with their transmitter?

Did you check in servo setup that the servo speed adjustment did not get turned to a slow setting by accident.

Wow, didn't even realize that setting was there.
I'll do a mode change recalibration, and check the speed settings, and see if this solves things.

Thanks for the suggestion!
Looking into my servo speeds, i found that they were all set to ~0.9s, once i changed them down to 0.1s, and recal'd to sticks, it worked like dream-come-true.
kind of wish they offered even faster settings than the 0.1s... some of the best servos are nearly half that. Maybe in a software update they'll add finer resolution.

check the time options. If norm is one of the choices that lets it work as fast as it can with no delay

Yes, like above said. Set it to normal. In that setting there is no slowing down from the radio.
