hi everyone,
I have a mini VBar 5.3.4 pro mounted on goblin 380.
the tail in hovering, pitch pump and flew (front and back) is nice and firm, but when I do the vertical tic toc moves slightly and keeps on giving small taps, as if it continued to pre-compensate. now I have decreased the precompensation collective and somewhat improved, but little. that other parameters should I change?

Is the tail moving left or right? You might actually need more cyclic precomp. Or less depending on which way it's moving

Good info thanks for taking the time to document this.

5.3 pro.
Originally I had a tail kick in tic tocs and if I pulled level climb-out and stopped.

I have changed my tail rotor on my 600 SE and raised my main gains also tuned my gov gains and successfully eliminated my kick, but now I have a wag about 60hz if that is the way to describe a one-second wag. It is minor like about an inch or two but was not there previously.
I ended up at 75/75/75 for acceleration/P/i gains based on suggestions I read somewhere.

If I read correctly the i gain needs to be reduced, and the pre-comp increased to compensate?

I rechecked for any binding and all is very smooth, no binding no play.

Travel in tail tab of the Vbar console is 100 both sides.

Tried a different set of blades and it seems to be cured.

Maybe it was the cold am temps.
