Default Installing new sites?

How does one go about installing new flying sites in V5? I'm trying to get Eli Field back, downloaded it but it seems they changed how one would install it.

It seems Phoenix forgot about updating the installer for new flying sites in v5. There may be another way, but I figured out how to do it manually.

1) Create a new folder named "Downloaded Updates" in C:\Users\yourusername\My Documents\PhoenixRC and put the flying site download in that folder (.phx file)

2) Run the phoenixUpdateInstaller.exe file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PhoenixRC folder. After confirming that you want to install the update(s), it will create a new folder named "Flying Sites" in C:\Users\yourusername\My Documents\PhoenixRC with a subfolder for each downloaded flying site.

3) Move the folder(s) for each flying site into C:\Program Files (x86)\PhoenixRC\resources\environments

4) Start Phoenix5 and the newly downloaded/installed sites should be available

I emailed support about this issue and they replied indicating that they'll be re-releasing the additional flying sites in the v5 download area today.

I believe the end result will be the same as using the manual process above, they're probably just changing the file extension from phx to pkg to make them compatible with the new v5 installer on the "Launcher" screen.

Whats annoying about the new installer thou and the pkg extension, is the old one you could install multiples, the new one, its Click Advanced, Click install update, Choose the update 1 by 1 etc.

Need to figure out a way to do multiples as selecting multiple files in the GUI doesnt work.

The updater.exe did not work for me at all. I had to extract the files into the /My Documents/PhoenixRC/downloaded/sites/user-made/

Then they worked for me.

Wow! There are a good few sites out there that are nicer than the stock Phoenix sites.
