Sorry for the question, but is it in america allowed to fly with nitro helicopters on the streets?

We need a permission for that. So most you fly with nitro helicoptes in clubs, but not on official places?!?

im pretty sure that herein canada its illegal to run models over a certain size in public areas. that would include anything gas or equivalent to a gas aircraft. but if nobody around knows that, i'm sure they wouldn't think to say anything due to their own ignorance. people just don't understand that a heli with a rotor disk over half a meter could actually kill them. they just think its a cool toy and walk right under it while i'm flying. happens all the time to me. i usually go and hover far away from them until they're out of the way. i'd yell at them if it didn't break my concentration.
