I went with a very deep case so I can charge on the deck w/o having to worry about a wet bench or on wet grass.

Like this? Everything is under the deck.

Yeah, it's not as much space as I'd like, but I didn't want a huge obnoxious case to carry around either. If I could find a nice durable weatherproof case that would fold open 180 degrees, I'd cover the lower deck with gadgets and the lid deck would be the flat platform for the packs to lay. Haven't really found anything like that though, so I made a compromise here between deck space and convenient case size. The larger packs will hang off the edge, but they'll at least lay there.

Got the bump controller today and after some confusion, got it all working together and I think it's gonna be pretty sweet. I'll get my router out tomorrow and goof around with it on scrap ABS to see if I can flush things in the way I want.

Default Velcro or 3M tape

I'm getting ready to assemble my charge case. I intend to mount a meanwell power supply to the bottom of the case. So, what's the consensus. Do I use heavy duty Velcro or 3M tape? My understanding is that the tape could be difficult to remove if needed but I'm afraid the Velcro may not be strong enough.

Velcro is way more than what you think. The stuff in the white box (Wal-Mart, Menards, ect) is very strong.

Yeah, HeavyDuty velcro from Lowes or Home Depot is ridiculous stuff. That includes the adhesive too, have fun getting it off if you ever need to for some reason, lol.

Is your Bump Controller able to read the bump tag through the top deck?

Default Coolice FPV/Race Cases

Hey all.

Thougth I'd post some photos of my latest creations aimed at the FPV and small LiPo users mainly I suppose.

The Coolice FPV/Race Cases, one housing a Meanwell LRS-350-24 powering an ISDT Q6 Plus and the other design with an ISDT SC-608 and Meanwell LRS-200-24 power supply. Both of these are shown in the Nanuk 905 case size, but of course can be scaled up to fit other Nanuk cases.
Both with the ability to use AC or DC to power the charger.
