That video was taken when Jan and Ralph Okon was testing FAI timing equipment for a German speed flying competition. They invited the Banshee guys to parcipate and RUMOR has it that Jan was testing his new creation in secret as well???? Latest rumor has it being available by October!!!!

Waiting game starts all over again!!

Your dreaming if you think you will get your hands on one in october, i would imagine that seeing as the list has been around for close to 12 months that it would be quite long by now and people just getting on to it will likely have a 6 to 12 month wait. Jan will send you a confirmation Email and put you on the list. I cant wait.

The sab speed widest section is 130MM due to servos, the banshee is only 90MM i think (speed banshee)

Jan has had a secret list for some time now!

So even thought Jan has not officially confirmed the speed heli he has confirmed on email that you on the list? I have had no response :-(

He is a busy man so be patient he will reply. The reply i got didnt exactly say Your on the list it was more like,

"ok "

Boy, that was not my understanding when i emailed Jan few months ago about the list. He said thanks for your interest, I have no waiting list but will keep you in mind if i ever produce a speed heli. I guess the list will start with annoucement of the heli production but who knows, all speculations for now and rumors.

So we found out that there is a list, you got your signed canopy, Marcos placed 3rd in the speed cup, and I came home with a beautiful addition to my fleet!

I'd say by all accounts IRCHA was a success!

Yes, I got onto that list *last* August, when Jan was in the early stages of designing the his heli.

The only thing he would confirm for me was that it wouldn't be a glow heli, LOL!

BTW, since the Speed Goblin was mentioned earlier, it clocked 131 in Unlimited, I did 131 in Stock last year diving from heaven with a TDR normal canopy and 134 in Open this year on a proper FAI course with the Banshee........ nough said.

I've got to try and make it to IRCHA next year. I know that I'm missing out. Anyway, I want to build another TDR set up for speed, but instead, I emailed Jan to see if I could get on "The List". Interested to see what his response is.

Because I speak native spanish, english as a second language and am pretending from my spanish to imitate a German in a way english speakers understand!

Hey Marcos, I understood it and I don't speak Dutch or German, LOL!

On a side note, I have to say that Marcos communicates in English better than most "native" English speakers on this forum!

I know we're not writing English essays here but I hate it when native English speakers can't even write with 4th grade-level grammar; it's especially amazing when they don't know their damn homophones (its/it's, your/you're, than/then, etc.). Non-native speakers obviously get a pass!
