Default What does red light on 4in1 unit on Hunter mean?

I've noticed that at certain throttle level the normally green LED on the 4in1 unit turns red. The manual doesn't explain what it means. A little voice in my head says it's probably indicator of electronic speed control overload, but I'd like to see if someone else has any experience with that.

Right now, I'm pretty sure that the red LED means overload. I accidentally shorted the motor connectors and while the short lasted, I got the red LED.

From what I can see, the red LED also lights up when the throttle isn't at zero on the remote controller and when there's a short on one of the other power pins. Another good feature is that the motors will hold until the throttle is set back to zero.

It also flashes red when the helicopter is on but isn't connected to a remote control device.
