After a few upgrades this is what my MCPx looks like

Got a smoking deal on a few used parts so I am now brushless in a Xframe, full alloy head and swash, extended boom and Hyperion 550mah batteries. Looks like the wind has died down a bit and its stopped raining, may be time to go give this a little hover

Recently rebuilt "crash test dummy"..........new frame/bearings, blades, feathering shaft, landing gear after really bad crash on concrete. HP05/XP-7a/120SR

My wife (bless her heart) told me it matches my flying style (snerk).......

Just another day of hard flying and pushing the envelope with my Hooptie-Copter ! Spent 5 packs practicing inverted and immelmans (1/2 roll with a 1/2 flip). Little fellow was doing OK until I noticed that something was hanging from the bottom - Oh thats just the battery pack - No worries

I'm in Korea and parts are hard to come by, so when I snapped the front strut of the landing gear a while back I first supported it with a piece of CF and superglue, but that didn't hold, so I went to Medipore Tape (a great new surgical tape) and strengthened it with CA glue. I also used this tape on the inside of the canopy to strenthen it. The tape made a great matrix and I added a bit of CA to it. It did a great job of keeping the canopy intact,

This whole Frankenstien-Copter held for about 50+ flights, but my enthusiasm surpasses my skill, and as you can see not only has the lading gear given out, but the canopy is held on with only one pin; the tail has been replacedthe tailfin wa lost, and I've replaced the swash and gone through numerous linkages.

Here's my mCP-130x, with a double BL HP06v2 / HP03t. They're full length 130x non-bullet blades and a boom length to give 185mm shaft to shaft. It's more stable now, though it's still very agile!

Here are some pics of my birds. Also in the last picture is my brushless MSRX. It's just a blast to fly inside or out. If you have an MSRX, I would highly recommend going brushless with it. It makes a huge difference !
I have a brushless setup for one of my MCPX's also, but i haven't installed it just yet. But i will soon.
The MSRX and 2 of the MCPX's ( the black & white & the yellow ) all have the RKH frame and CNC heads. The orange & white has the OEM frame with the Astroid CF cage and CNC head. They all have the 7mm tail motors.
Thanks for looking !

Nice clean bird Guyken. Whats the length of your boom, and do you know what it weighs?

Didn't check it myself but according to microheli 1,92 grams . I'm still flying the brushed motor and it has no negative effect on flying rather the opposite. Tail holds very good at serious sport flying.Lenght 130mm

Dang BigRHS, those are some nice looking birds! I forgot you had 3 MCPX's. Good googly moogly, I cringe when I think of you getting your hands on a Nano. Gonna go for a bakers dozen? (Hehe, just ribbin ya.)

Hey, you get longer flight times with the brushless setups?
