I did that once.. one blade on upside down- funny thing is it still flies! Just a little extra vibration.. I couldn't believe it when that happened.

LOL I was doing maintenance on it and my fiance was yelling at me to wrap it up. Guess I wasn't paying attention

The motor bogs less and the tail holds better. You just have to get them Perfectly balanced.

Nah, not really less stable. In fact, its actually more stable because the headspeed is higher due to the lower load on the motor. Higher headspeed = more stable

makes sense. i didnt like the stability of the nano compared to the mcpx tho due to smaller blades

Trust me, the mCP X with shorter blades really is more stable than stock IMHO.

Got around to resizing. Sorry for the trouble that the last set of photos caused. Hopefully these should be more browser friendly?

Plus, I've since gotten around to adding a few upgrades (blades / skids).

Green blades because they were the only pair that was balanced...

Custom tail. Soldered tail wires to a 7mm motor that came from a Xtreme Turbo Tail for Nano CPx. It was a total PITA to solder those teeny tiny wires but I got it done and it works great, especially compared to the stock tail.

I used a mCP X BL tail motor holder, so I had to wrap masking tape around the 7mm tail motor to get it to fit...

Used a Xtreme carbon tail fin because its a mCP X BL tail boom. I widdled the 2.5mm boom down to 2mm so it would fit in the frame.

Loving it so far

Thnx..

That is a canopy made from paper mache..
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/paper%20mache

Love the looks, but it is extremely fragile and cracks if you look at it wrong.

It's a Fusuno. http://www.fusuno.com/product_info.p...ducts_id=16594

I emailed and asked if they would make it in fiberglass. They said yes, but shipping was $25 so I passed. They said maybe get helipartsdirect to order it custom for me. Maybe next summer. It is sweet looking in the sky.

edit-
Here's a bunch of pics I took that day of this canopy..
