Default Fury 55 Gasser

Carey,

I just watched Smackdown Episode 19, and am rather impressed with the new 'wave' of gassers. Like many, my first memories of gas helis (many years ago!) were that they were heavy, underpowered, complicated etc.
Your explanations have helped explain those misconceptions:-)

A bit late to vote now, however I'd love a Fury55 conversion to be available.

Cheers from New Zealand.

I would like to see this go into production. I would more then likely buy one. But then again, MA is having a hard time getting the Whiplash gasser out to the masses.

hopefully after Whiplash production is going full steam on all three models Chris can spend some time on this

power to weight ration on the model is very good.

I've got two other friends who are interested in the Fury 55 conversion too. One of them would like to do a conversion. The other would like to buy in a kit format (as would I).

I'm curious about that also. The new OS gas engine should fit into the F55 airframe with a few mods. I'm not sure if the glo sized cooling system will be enough. We'll have to see when the engine comes out.

I've talked to Chris about it a couple of times, they are still focused on filling Whiplash backorders so it will be a bit longer before he has time

its not forgotten however

I too would be interested. I want a Whiplash gasser but it's just too expensive right now. This size has even more appeal to me though.

To me this is the best of both worlds... the size of the Radikal 20 and the power of the 30. Definitely moving gassers towards the same power/weight as the glow machines. I dare say this could revolutionize the gassers?

The more I look at this bird the more I'm reminded of Carroll Shelby's legendary Cobra, it is a heli wrapped (barely) around an engine! The front view really drove this point home to me

Keep up the good work Carey!

I'm hoping this becomes Priority #1 after the Whiplash demand sorts itself out.

The 55G certainly is sexy.

Add me to the list as well...I plan on building a Fury55 in the very near future and would love a conversion parts list for the gass version as well...
