1 Horizontal fin...CF

Various gears etc.
Here's the deal..............This is the heli that that I made a wrong stick movement in a gust or wind with.
This has cost me 30K in uninsured medical costs and ultimately cost me my job.
As it sits, it needs a mainshaft, tail boom, tail boom supports, feathering shaft and a couple of mixing arms in the head. Most of these parts I have on hand and will go with the heli. Frame is perfect, servos, motor etc is just fine.
Over $900 invested. will take $450 as is with all spares, or $550 repaired, (but no test flight).

Sorry for your accident. Hope your doing better and have a successful sale. Maybe you should part out, for the obvious.

I have to admit, I would think you would have a hard time selling a machine that was responsible for that injury, regardless of price, just because of the history. That is huge thing, not really enticing for a prospective buyer!

Perhaps you would be better off parting it out.

Default Thanks

Good point, well taken. After all it drew blood and I don't want to mess with it anymore! Maybe I should part it out and hang the remains from the ceiling of the shop as a rememberance to Always follow a pre-flight inspection, make sure you have ample room to RUN!, Keep the SOB a fair distance away, be on the lookout for sudden changes in control or vibration or noise.

It wasn't the heli's fault at all...........A gust of wind blew it towards me and turned it nose in in a heartbeat........I MADE A WRONG STICK MOVEMENT!! in the heat of battle and lost. So be it.
Thanks
ba

Where does the banana come in?

Maybe an old fishing superstition, bananas are bad luck. Had a charter captain turn around once and head back in after he found out someone had brought a banana on board.

Hell, lots of Helicopters. Lots. Airplanes and Quads too.
Unless this is my wife reading this, then just a couple.
