Default Does this mean its time for a new radio?

I hooked my dx7 up to the realflight6 sim yesterday per the instructions and noticed right away that I was getting some of the same drifts as I do in real flight during certain manuevers, specifically tic tocs drift to the left. When I fly on the sim with the realflight radio I can do the all day in the same spot. I thought it was a bit fishy that the same thing happened on the sim as real life when using my dx7. The dx7 was bought used at the beginning of the year and I believe the original owner had it for about 2 years. Another thing I noticed is that there seamed to be a delay in the helis movemt from my inputs. Do these sound like tell tale signs that my radio is on the way out?

You can replace it or another option would be to send it in for service

Could be the radio. There is a way to align the center point of the sticks mechanically. This could affect the trim and cause it to drift.

As for the speed of reaction, I believe the DX7 depending on your model year is an 11ms radio. They do have a high speed version which is 22ms.

I went your route and ended up going through 3 radios. I wish I had gone ahead and bought the DX8 right off the bat!
