I had the same thing happen to my Furion 6 belt, but managed to land it (tail was still driven by the mangled belt, which melted all over the tail shaft bearings). I don't like belts. Anyway I'll keep it tight from now on and we'll see how it goes.
We were in the jungle, there were too many of us, we had access to too much money, too much equipment, and little by little we went insane

There may be an update coming to the tail case for the belt. A friend and I have made a minor mod to the tail case and will post a pic soon, this may help the belt. stay tuned!
