I've found them at RCTechnics in Holland, I think they will ship overseas.

Here she is in her current form. This pic s actually with BigRHS' board. I was doing a test flight after the BL upgrade. Mine has the EXACT same setup though. My ESC is on the motor side becase his has the quick flash JST plug so it can be reflashed without taking it off the helicopter (I know because I had to reflash it a few times with a few different settings in 5.0 to get it to fly as good as mine with 3.4)

Anyway here she is. The AirTime R/C skids in white really help a lot more than I thought they would with visability! I'm VERY happy! The Xtreme canopy is a little heavier than stock but I like it!

What did you punch the bottom holes with, a soldering iron? I have 3 of these canopies coming in the mail tomorrow, originally to cover for my mcpx antics. Might divert one to my dbl brushless,

Punched em with a red hot IV catheter needle LOL. I always grab a few anytime I'm at the hospital for ANY reason. They're great for getting splinters out too

Apparently you can use soapy water to help get the decals on without any bubbles... I read about it too late LOL.

Hey, can you post a screen captuer of you BLheli5.0 setup screen. I'm wondering what values you used for motor timing and whatever the value in the bottom of the middle column is (motor dampening maybe?)

I had Big's ESC setup with the timing on 3 where it is when you flash the stock 5.0 hex file. It was making the motor VERY twitchy at low throttle. I ended up setting it to 1 and it helped a LOT. First I tried 5 and it made it much worse.

Here's my new heli. This is my step up from a RTF mcx2 coax. I'm starting to get the hang of it and it is a blast compared to my old coax. I bought a DX6i at the same time and the heli has the full on RKH treatment. My reasoning was to make it as tough and bullet proof as possible and so far so good. Also want to thank you guys for all the help I've gained from this site.

And thanks for the work you did on that BL conversion !
I really appreciate the effort and craftsmanship you put into that !

Sorry for the delay, bb, here it is (life got in the way). Mine is for the xp-7a:

[DateTime]
Created=7/14/2012 12:16:23 PM
[Name]
Name=msrx xp-7a
[Hardware]
Eep_Layout_Revision=11
Eep_BESC_Layout=XP7A
Eep_BESC_MCU=#BLHELI#F330#
Eep_BESC_Mode=1
[Setup]
Eep_Pgm_Motor_Gain=5
Eep_Pgm_Motor_Idle=1
Eep_Pgm_Startup_Pwr=3
Eep_Pgm_Pwm_Freq=2
Eep_Pgm_Direction_Rev=2
Eep_Pgm_Input_Pol=2
Eep_Enable_TX_Setup=1
Eep_Pgm_Startup_Rpm=3
Eep_Pgm_Startup_Accel=5
Eep_Pgm_Volt_Comp=1
Eep_Pgm_Comm_Timing=3
Eep_Pgm_Damping_Force=5

Mine is set to 3 as well, dont notice any twitchiness. Might be due to the more powerful motor I'm using

great looking bird! But, it looks naked without the extra esc and brushless motor

Rakon sells a nice brushless motor mount that bolts right up to that frame, ya know. Just sayin..................

Oh yeah, the thought has crossed my mind already. But I've had it less than a week and I'm coming from a coax so I'm still a little timid. I think like most of you guys if I invested in a BL setup for it I would still fly the wee out of it even after stepping up to a CP heli. In other words, it wouldn't be money wasted.

You'd still fly it, I fly the S__t out of mine. The only thing is that I am now on two,learning curves. Have to use a soft hand on the sticks for the mcpx, I fly the bl msrx like a drag car. Full tilt and that's about it....

Those are the normal height airtimes. I'll post a pic of the low pro's on the mCPX tonight (if I remember), they're only about 1/2 as tall!! The canopy is mm off the deck.

I've been flying the mCPX's a LOT lately and had the mSRX downed for about 3 weeks de to a blown elevator IC MOSFET. If your motor sticks all the way to one side or the other as soon as you power it up this is likely the cause! coredump fixed mine and murderisthegame's both fly great now.

ANYWAY, I flew the BL mSRX for the first time in about 3 weeks. It's just like koi said. It's a damn drag car. Even with *only* a 13,500KV motor and a heavier canopy and skids than stock it's like a dart. Faster in a straight line than the mCPX with bullet blades even! I love her and missed her more than I knew!
