Default HBK3 Head

I am just wondering does anyone have a complete head for the King 3 that they would be willing to part with or know where I can find it cheaply online.

I don't want to invest much on the king 3 as I have other high end helicopters but it is my personal goal to be able to fly it. It was my first heli and the only heli out of my fleet that I can't fly.

Hey Tonks. For me to buy all the plastic parts on that site would be robbery. If the King 3 was quality, I would not mind but it is not, in my opinion. I have checked ebay and all they are doing are the metal heads, I just need the basic plastic.

If you are going to fly it, you might want to make it fly good. Here are two links that will do that:

http://www.xheli.com/exicncmerohe.html

http://www.xheli.com/60p-erz-109.html

You end up with a good 450 head and extra 450 tail (basically free) and the dynam swash solves the anti rotation plate problem.

You may need to grind about 5mm off the top of the King 3 main shaft so the head fits down on the shaft to the bolt hole. Also, get some 288 mm FG or Carbon blades on eBay to fit the 450 size grips. eHirobo 290 mm FG's work well for about $6.00.

Enjoy,

Terry
