I just realized I did not have my LEDs plugged in at the time of pictures. It looks like you probably could have seen them. Not really bright in day time, but they wouldve ben noticable.

Well folks I got one of F.A.R.M.E.R Q Canopy I got to say its great. I can really tell a difference in flight it seems faster and more controllable in FFF. We had a indoor race and I can feel it move through the air smoother .

All I have to say is well done f.a.r.m.e.r .

Here are some pics of it I added stickers to bring it to life a lil.

Be blessed
Isaac

Looks great TnT I got my canopy from Dave yesterday and it looks great except for the fact that the USPS ran it over with a forklift or something

So, I can already attest for it's durability the thing had like 4 dents in it and the all popped out except for 1. I didn't have any lexan paint on hand so gotta run to the LHS and grab some this morning.

Once I get mine painted I will post a few pics. Hope all you guys have a happy weekend of flying!

Just some simple mods.

Bottom of a bottle for canopy . It works really well and low profile. I used a small piece of velcro In The middle.

Velcro battery tray for attaching camera and packs.

Also see the micro dean in the front? Not the lipo ones. The single one is my "accessory power" for lights and whatnot. It's wired to the bottom of the boards main power

Look what you can do with a bottom half of a apple juice jug, paint, a few stickers and time. I think it came out right good.

I cut hole in the top for one the hump that was in the bottle was hitting The board so I cut it out not thinking with the hole in the top of it will let air flow through when on descending keep from ballooning up or wobble. Also cut in the front and back for the same reason cut down on ballooning and wobbling.

Here a the pics

TNT and klaarkkent your canopies look great! I am loving all the homeaid possibilities with this thing. Think I am gonna try and come up with something original myself very soon.

I think a tear drop with a point on each end kinda like this design or a cigar shape pointed on both ends is probably the best design for greatest average performance in all directions. Would want to encase the belly though and of course for maximum performance find the lightest material possible and use the minimal amount to completely encase the electronics in the optimum shape. Smallest lightest sphere possible, or tear drop with point oriented forward would also be good options. The stock canopy on these things and any canopy that doesn't seal the belly are probably causing a lot of unnecessary drag. I bet with the hyperions and a canopy of this design you would get a noticeable increase in performance.

...Screw this, I've been lurking long enough, going to order one now

P.S. I have a lot of mod ideas for this when I get it, but just for fun I thought it would be funny to stick a marlboro box on it as a canopy...maybe a red bull can? (Gives you wings!) beer can might be to big.

Could someone post a closeup on the MQX 4-in-1? There is a lone red wire (not one of the connectors that run to the motors) that I destroyed, trying to figure out where both ends go!
