Default Yeah, got 1 too :D charging question

Hey all

Well I broke down and got one this morning, battery is charging as I type fast question, manual says to charge at 0.7 but seeing as the battery is a 500mah should I not charge it at 0.5?

I looked it over everything seems good to go, now to test it and play chase the ferret, and now that I have a keychain cam this should make for some fun videos

You can charge a 1C if you like but the battery chemistry allows charging slightly above that. Some newer Lipos can be charged at 2C, 3C, 5C even...

I just got mine today, and having a blast with it. Flew it into a wall pretty hard with no damage at all but a few scuffs on one of the blades...

Just flew my first pack on it, wow totally stable and a zippy little thing, canopy though UGH, 1 small crash and it is ripped where the hole is for the mounting
Anyone have any good ideas for fixing that? CA glue?

^^Yep

Even better is to line the whole canopy with packing tape for reinforcement. Same with all the micro E Flite stuff.

Coat the inside of a canopy with plastidip. Get a can for $7 that will last a loooong time. The canopy will never break with an inner layer of plastidip. I just use a cue tip to apply to my canopies. One guy made a video of him completely smashing his msr canopy flat and it bounced right back into shape with no noticeable damage due the dip.
