YAAAAHH!!, I finally got my Raptor out today and flew that puppy a bit. First time in about 8 weeks. Actually I flew a couple of them but this one is my favorite one of all and it still smooth as a babys butt.

Yep, I posted a few weeks back that Hobbyking had them on sale and NitroAl said it wouldn't work. There is another fellow on here that has one also but haven't seen him post in a while.

Woot Woot! maidened it today. No issues at all! gyro is set completely factory and worked flawless. Got the tt39 on some good settings i found and it ran perfect. No governor yet because i have to pull the motor to make a bracket but i still got it to tic toc ok with a throttle curve. Guys ill be uploading a vid and some pics shortly!

It had a little more negative than positive and the hover points were a little off but i flew it anyway, expect a much better vid soon when i put a lighter flight pack in, a micro throttle servo as well as a governor O and i got 12 mins out of the tank doing 3d having the motor loaded the whole time

I have just acquired a Raptor 30 and a RJX 50 head. I am not close to flying it yet but as best as I can see the head is going to work. Manually holding the collective cradle for mid stick everything looks good. Even the links fit the TT balls.

Hi

I found a Raptor 30V2 kit in the box :-) .... it arrives Monday

Thunder Tiger FBL head .
OS37 with the Hatori SAB-6RS-3D Tuned Muffler (O.S.37)
Futaba 9351's,
251 on the tail with the Cgy750,
550 carbon fiber blades
I upgraded the main gear to the 85 tooth x50 gear and will be adding the auto rotation gear
I'll be running 7.4V's with a regulator and switch glow.

Looking for a nice bright canopy....anyone know where I can buy one at a reasonable price?

Pictures to follow after assembly

FBL Head arrived Thursday. I dis-asemebled it, cleaned all the bolts etc, used locktite and assembled it. Very nice quaility!

Thanks

Bring it on, looking forward to the build. I purchased one of these. It's for a x50 but will work on a 30/50.
