Default Logo 400se time-lapse build video

Hello everyone,

I just finished up my Logo 400se build. I set up a camera to take a photo every 30 seconds, then compiled it into a video and thought I would share.

I used the following in my build:

Mikado Logo 400 SE
Mikado V-bar
Kontronik JIVE 80+ LV
Scorpion HK-4015-1070
Savox SH-1250 mg (cyclic)
Savox SH-1290 mg (tail)
Edge 473mm (main)
Edge 72mm (tail)

I hope to maiden it soon. Enjoy!

All in I collected 1251 frames, @ 30 seconds/fame which comes out to about 10.5 hrs + there was a little bit of "off camera" fiddling.

I'm not sure I want to hear about your "off camera fiddling"
Keep it clean, this is a family forum

Was there anything you had to modify / change from the manual? Any problems?

Ha, i did cut out quite a few stills of my face on camera, maybe ill post the unedited version.

The manual was pretty much spot on, the biggest trouble I had was fitting the big Scorpion motor on to the motor mount, it barely fits and does take some finessing. Other than that just a lot of measuring of bolts with calipers to make sure I was fitting the right parts.

I need to get come calipers, do I need to get an expensive "name brand" one? Or are they all the same / equally accurate? Thanks

From what I have read, if you need very precise measurements (hundredths-thousandths/mm), you will need to get a high quality caliper. I just keep a inexpensive set in my toolbox for general measurements like bolt sizes, link lengths, etc.

Are the cheap ones reliably accurate to 0.1mm? Have you had any trouble with yours? I see that one a lot on here, perhaps that's the one I should get? Thanks

I have a cheap set of digital calipers from eBay and they're awesome. How accurate are they? I don't know, but I'm not building rockets over here, just model helis. I've never questioned their accuracy, but I've never quantified it either... I think you'll be fine.
