Default Quark+gorilla hand= disaster!!

I was trying to check what uS and Hz my quark was running (changed tail servo and couldn't make servo work)and I pushed too hard on the switch. Broke it. Can it be repaired or do I need to go shopping?

Angelos (Spartan-RC) said it can be fixed but will probably take a month shipping both ways. He told me of a way to program the quark with the tx but I can't get it to switch to program mode. Power on gyro, hold left rudder and toggle gyro/fmode switch until you get a flashing violet light. All I get is solid red(rate mode). Have gyro set to 0% and 100% in tx. Am I missing something? Using DX6i

I haven't used a Quark for a while (great gyro!), but have used this in the past!

I think you need to make sure that the switch you are toggling is assigned to channel 5. Then set some percentages in the gyro menu that will make it be in heading hold with the switch one way and rate mode the other way (flick the switch and get it changing the LED between red and blue). As I understand it, the change between AVCS (heading hold) and rate mode is what it needs to see to get it to go into the setup.

Then power up with the rudder left and toggle the switch quick :-)

Here is the FAQ: http://www.spartan-rc.com/resources/....php?topic=101

Hope that helps... :-)
