Default XXtreme Servo Mounting Issue

My XXtreme arrives tomorrow! I was reading the manual ahead of time and came across the section talking about servo mounting. It seems that if you want to use the recommended Savox servos (like I am) then you need to puchase seperately the "Mikado servo mounting kit no. 4587".

Ok, so first question is.... Why would Mikado recommend servos that don't work on a heli the way it's designed? According to the manual it will take JR and Futaba servo's no problem, but for the recommeded Savox, you have to purchase a mounting kit seperately. What's up with that???????

Second quesiton.. I can't find one of these servo mounting kits anywhere on the Internet. Can anyone tell me where to get one? or is there some other trick you can use to mount the Savox servos without the kit?

Has anyone that just got their XX had a problem with mounting the Savox servos?

Thanks,

Victor

Maybe the reason it isn't listed is it's included in the kit? Just a thought
I'm sure someone who owns the kit will chime in.

Does seem odd that the reccomended or suggested servos do require an extra.

On the other hand , how many people have been using futaba/jr and will continue to use them ?

Heres a set :

Im guessing the mounting holes are closer togeather than a jr/fut servo.

The servo blocks mount up from the bottom / top so if anything they could be shimmed for a wider servo but not less.

My guess though ( i have jr servo's)
