I picked up what looked like a good used 450x last year but with my limited knowledge I now realise that the previous owner had put new but crappy wooden main blades on it and it also has emax servos which is a letdown imho. And who knows how he had it set up so I did a reset on the fbl unit

After watching Freddy can fly setting up the beastx I now have realised that I need to mechanically adjust all linkages to level the swash plate but I can't find any reference to the standard length of the servo links/push rods. The crap servos will do to hover on while im still learning.

Im loving my mcps although no 3d flying.

PS. If i set the servos to the lowest frequency that should be ok or not

Cheers Dave

PPS I should be in the Old fart section in lockdown

Grab one of these from Amazon or wherever:

https://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/...rodID=BLH1690A

That'll get you the servo-to-swash lengths and then you can do the swash-to-head lengths to make sure that the blades are tracking and then do the rest of the BeastX setup with a pitch gauge.

Any advantages to the new FBL controller on the 330X/S?

Ordered a set of KST 215 v3 servo's to replace my aging (and 1 failed) cyclic hitech 5065 servo's.

Hoping to have it back up and flying by Friday/Saturday.
