BTW - I subbed you on your youtube page hoss!
I have the canopy rebuild for a better beater one now also.
My wife love photography and I got her new camera for X-Mass. She loves watching me fly and now I'm a Ginny pig for her to learn her settings. She feels a crash as much as I do.

Okay - I got the black option parts in and installed them! I might have to let the black skids grow on me, because right now they look weird. I suppose that in time they will.

Yeah, I like how these colors work!

Fuzzy - that looks great! I have a question though - Aren't you concerned about the green blending in with the grass and trees?

It still looks wicked nice though!

I still have a nitro Traxxas from the mid-90's that I barely used. I bet it would run great, if I ever bothered to buy fuel. If I pick up a Gaui NX4 then I'll have an excuse.

IsaiahSaldivar your at much the same point as I am with upgrades minus a cf boom and I've used spektrum servos, how's your cg ? You should look at bench checking for voltage drops I've found I need an external BEC with stock esc. Really don't know if this applys with the hi tec servos but i changed pot 3 on the Ar7200bx and had a big voltage drop around drown out level ! KiloXray upgrade to a gryphon polaris 10a BEC which im waiting for , for added voltage head room .
Hope you enjoy you new first maiden its a totally new heli you'll love it !
Did you go with the 13t or 12t pinion on th H450 ? Its a great upgrade motor sounds impressive and has heaps of torque.
Happy flying !
NWD.

It looks like its never been run; it looks perfect. I still have mine but it sure doesn't look as nice as your RC10.

PM me.

I had a Tamiya Frog for my 1st r/c, and then the 1st edition release of the Made in the USA East Edinger factory California car. Thanks! I've run the one that I posted

I have restored and rebuilt more than a few vintage RC10s over the years, including the Losi Hydra Drive conversions. I still have a wooden crate wine box chock full of many spares.

K - enough tooting my own horn - let's see some more beautiful 450Xs!

I think with the motor and servos its to much for the ESC. Im trying to decide what new one i want to get the YEP or Castle. Even without the 450 just the 440 alone heats up the ESC after one flight really hot. I have the 12T and a 13T thinking of putting on the 12T because the 13T may drain battery to fast. I am using 60C batteries so getting a lot of power as it is =]

No, really, it was a very slight customization, not like these other fellas' canopies. But I am still excited, one can never have too many heli options.

A hot ESC can be caused by to low a head speed if you run your heli in IU and its getting to hot to touch check your gear mesh isn't to tight and keep a close eye your Esc just In case it failing.
If your ESC is alright an external BEC is another option you could try instead of replacing your stock ESC , then your ESC is supplying power for the motor only.
Either a Yep or CC ESC would work ,I believe most use the CC Ice lite 50a with good results and now its superseded you may be able to pick one up cheeper!
The 12t will give you better flight time for sure and if your interested in a Bec I'll let you know how mine goes when I get it , install it and try it out.
KX is using stock Esc (I believe),H450, mg servos with an external Bec you could ask him how's its going?

+1 to that

Check your gear mesh. Otherwise, you'll get a higher whine out of the main motor (the screaming sound of ampdraw), and both it and the ESC will overheat, and can eventually burn them both to death from the high temps. Magnets do not love heat - BL or not, they do not recover from heat damage. Circuit boards hate heat also. Improper gear mesh will also kill the bearings in the motor, and if it's tighter, then it'll chew up the main gear as well. check that stuff out hoss!
