Default Post pics of your Blade 450X

Or perhaps those interlocking foam tiles they often sell at home improvement stores. They're probably a decent thickness and you'd be able to make several holder from one tile.

And compromise the structural integrity of a part that is spinning at 3k rpm, that could break off and kill me? No thanks.

In my case I just made the slot where the blades slide in a little deeper to accommodate.

Thats what i was thinking, but what you did would do the same thing if your talkin you did it to the blade grip. I dont think i would bother doing anything to either really

I like that idea. We have a set of those at our club we use for a heli launching pad... and you're right...they're about the right thickness and stiffness. Should be easy to cut...not too expensive. Cut off a small corner and use the rest for a helipad for grass fields. Good call.

Nah man! LOL. You misunderstood me. I meant my CARRYING case. I just don't use a blade holder but the whole heli fits in my carrying case because I made the blade pocket a bit deeper.

I would never notch grips of blades.

Or you can buy a cheap thong or sandles or flip flop and cut it to blade holder shape. Cheap strong and sturdy.

ID:	445684. I had two extra blade holders. I just cut the slit for the angle and used one for each blade. No money spent...for a change.

Thanks guys. I'm really digging this color combo both sunny and cloudy days, even more than the same set up but green tail.

Tammy and I agreed to not run the EK set up until next year. Make its debut/maiden at a AMA Charter #670 - Valley Aero Modelers club flying field, along with my 550X. (no one in club has a 550X that I know of)

Very happy with the RJX blades, esp considering the price.

No additional balancing needed. I changed some other things on the Heli at the same time, but I can't say I notice any difference in performance between my converted 3D with youngbloods and my X with the RJX that would be attributed to the blades.

Track well, nice pop.
