Thank you.

I'll never get rid of my Nano as it is my in the house beater. I'll never get rid of my "KUCMN" 450X seen I bought it with my 1st place winnings at a show.

BUT I already had thoughts about getting rid of my mCPx BL. Just from doing the build.

Didn't need my trifocals to work on it. Now my 450X seams like a BL

After having my stock elevator servo fail prematurely, I decided to tear down my 450 X completely and rebuild it with some extra goodies!

(I've posted these pics already on another thread, but figured this thread was more appropriate as it's the official "Post Your Pics of 450 X" )

I agree.

I thought about it but didn't think it would work. Congrats on doing it and making it work. ^5

Stretched her out. Lynx 350mm main blades, extended boom to 420mm (365mm is stock).

That should be quite stable now. Any particular reason you didnt go with 360mm blades like most stretched 450s. Should be a huge difference anyhow.

Cuz.... Team Lynx!

Seriously though, I was trying to do this on the cheap because I am not sure I will like it. It was more cost effective for me to go with the Lynx blades. Plus, I had wanted to try out their new 325s but didn't need ANOTHER set of 325s, so I went for the 350s and a stretch. Outside of blades, the stretch only cost me about 12 bucks. For the boom and belt.

I did get some hover work in today. You can certainly feel the added stability. By the math, even the 350mm blades added about 90 square inches of disk.

Makes sense to me, was just curious. Sounds like a good deal for what you have into it.

That's pretty interesting the way you mounted the skid brackets way back like that. Definitely unique.

Its pretty good..but is best on the ground not moving! At far distances I usually rely on knowing what inputs I'm giving and the expected reactions by the helicopter. All the fiberglass canopies i've had by blade/fusuno/canomod/lynx look amazing.
