Thanks for that Kevin. Yep that is a local semi-official flying field (no club or fees). There's an up-market winery the other side of the road. 15 minutes from home.

I wish I could fly over grass every day. Unfortunately, in Southern California, that's unlikely to happen unless I try to fly in a park... I don't think a turbine helicopter swinging 810mm blades would go over to well in a park.
