There's three generations of the MCPX: v1, v2, and BL. I don't know about the v1, but the v2 ($129) flys very well, although the electric tail rotor doesn't always hold during fast maneuvers. The newest BL is $229, but I'm sure it has higher performance, and I seriously doubt anything can survive a crash like a v2.

Your LHS may vary with prices. My LHS for example has the BL for $199 and the mcpx for $94

Prices were driven down on the v2 due to the release of the BL.

Wow! That's a lot. That price BNF or RTF?

The RTF is 114, and BNF is 94

Anyway, the eBay price sounds good as you'd be getting all those batteries. Real nice indeed.

I am not sure if they ship or not. They are called Rob's R/C Hobbies, in the city of Huntington Beach, here in the state of California.

Here's their number: (714) 372-3777

I have ordered with them in the store a micro heli swash, but since I am local I picked it up from the store when it arrived. I never did ask if they'd ship it to me...

Another place that is near me is wowhobbies.com
They have it listed for 129 (BNF), which is nothing special about the price, but not sure if they'd be willing to price match Rob's price. If so perhaps you can order through them, get the price match and just pay the shipping

you can contact them at: 714-939-7895

+1 on Robs Hobbies. Thats where I go as well. Damn, they must have just lowered the price on the MCPx. I bought mine about a month ago for $130 RTF.

As far as the Brushless version. I wouldnt do it. If your just getting in to the hobby, its gonna be too much to handle.

Yeah man, they lowered the price a week ago. They selling the BL well, but sales suffering on the v2 so they lowered the price on the BNF and RTF

It's a great store indeed. I will keep a close eye on the nano, if they lower the price like they did with the v2, I would surely jump on it!

Yes a lot more powerful. You can turn it down if need be.

If you are planning to convert to brushless going the BLHeli route, etc, I'd find a v1. Less vibration issues if you go with the higher speed motors (i.e. >HP05)

So the higher speed less vibration ?

I think he meant because you have higher head speed, it's more prone to vibration. V2 boards are more sensitive to vibration and thus v1 boards are better if you plan to use any motor stronger than hp05.

Well I won't be changing any parts no time soon unless a crash happens then I will start to add better parts. So I think I will go with the v2 so far still have a couple days go decide
