Default tail servo clamp

Hey eveyone

I have a small problem that i hope someone can help with. The first thing is , that im not new to the rc aircraft thing(heli or plane).
The problem that i have is a simple one but it is driving me nuts finding a mod that i can do.I have a CCPM heli and everything on it works fine, including the RX setup, except for one thing. The tail servo is always moving on me,in turn when the servo moves on me it changes the pitch of the heli. The clamps that are on it, are not that bad except for the fact that they are not holding the servo in place solid enough to stop the servo from moving.(do to vibrations)
Here is what i have tried:
1) Replaced the screws with bigger ones, hoping for more of a bit to hold. That didnt work.
2) Tried replacing the normal screws with hex screws, and that didnt work.
The clamps that came with the heli seem to bee a LITTLE to small for the job, because when tring to clamp the two parts of the clamp together for the hold, they dont go all the way together if you know what i mean.I know that in the long run im going to have to go out and buy some NEW clamps(cnc) to change from the standard plastic that it was supplied with.
The mod that i hope that someone can suggest is something that i can use from around the house til i can get the new clamps

Are you sure the travel limits are set correct. The only time I have this issue, even with plastic clamps, is when the travel of the servo is not right and it pushes the servo back..If that is not the issue you could try some tape or shrink wrap over the boom to get a better hold..

Yep I think the tape wrap is good idea.

What heli is it? what is the tail boom diameter?

I would use a little CA on the clamps, between them and the boom. You just need something to provide a better grip.
