Default mcpx brushless revive

I know this is a dead forum...Gentleman I need a little help. I'm reviving an old mcps brushless mod with a V1 board and a xp12a esc. The flashing process went well but for the life of me the Esc will not arm no matter where I get the throttle input from. I've tried the motor port and the board tap with no luck. What version of Blheli should I use ?
I currently have it flashed with ver 14.9 I also tried ver 10.4 with no luck. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
When I power up the esc I get 2 tones but nothing after that. When I take the throttle from 0 to 100 and back to 0 I get nothing. I've tried this with 2 different mpcx boards both V1 with the same results Thanks

Did you ask Rudy at Megas Micros? He's always been willing to help me.

Try version 12.2--That is very reliable.

I believe the newest is good, too. But since I had trouble with 13.? I reloaded 12.2 (or 12.1) and have had no troubles since.

I had trouble getting my XP12As, and XP7As to work when I updated one time.

They flashed fine. The motors would not spin up until I went back to V12.1 or 12.2 (which is the first one that has reverse for quads).
