Default $ 86 total to go this route

since I still have the non PRO TR gearbox, looks like i will need to get one of those also.

is the threaded stub coming out the side of the plae integral to the plate or is it held on via screw/s like on the ESP plate ?, I ask since i see they have gone away from that bridging spacer at the rear to an integral type coming out of both plates. from this picture it looks to be a 1 piece deal.

Thanks, the slop always returns to the stock tail.

How are these new ones holding up ?

Sell old parts... yes it is one piece now and two screws instead of one pass thru threaded screw.

Is the Pro tail a direct fit on the ESP?

Default nice pics

Whose pitch links are you using ?

Just to confirm, all the slop makes for more tr servo work ? I don't have any perceptable wag in a hover, but get a few degrees on pitch pumps. BX gain is at 65%, 70% induced a tail wag during a power climb-out from hover, ...
time to check that paypal balance

KDE's pitch links...several companies makes them though. This upgrade isn't a HAVE to do and honestly it's performance gain is very minimal but definitely a much better design and alot less slop. Slop can cause vibrations or even part wear. Don't expect this to fix your problems...it may or may not. Atleast it looks nice and sturdy and feels locked on.

Ok, just to clarify for me because I have come into this discussion late.

I have the stock ESP tail assembly. If I want to upgrade (?) to this new tail control I need to buy the entire new PRO tail assembly AND the new tail lever assy.? Or does some one sell the PRO tail assembly with the new lever assembly on it?

the tail lever bits comes as an assembly loosely asembled ( so you can take it apart and locktite it as you go. it does come with the right side plate of the pro tr gear box (GB), this rs plate will not fit onto the esp tr gb as the new pro gb has an integral rear end spacer ( ESP tr gb has that seperate silver spacer tube that loks like a mini frame spacer as seen in front of the two cyclic servos) So you do need to buy the PRO tr gb assy, and you need to buy the new tr pitch change lever assy. $ 84.98 total is the list prices. The slop from the ESP lever to the bottom ball on the bearing slider is no longer an issue

Thanks, that is what I thought, just wanted clarification. I augered it and my blade 400 in on Sat and spent almost $200 on parts . The 500 so hard it BENT the FBL headblock. I have had some tail slop issues and got the metal slider but that does not seem to have worked as well as I had hoped. I guess I am not done spending yet Oh yeah, its a helicopter. Flying these is a lot like when I was racing, buying the car (or heli) is the cheap part, repairs, parts is where the real cost is. If I was a dealer I would GIVE them away for the parts business
