Great vids as usual Bob, thanks!

Though I am new to helis, more than 10 years I was doing a lot of nitro plank flying. I am particularly interested to see the differences in setup, break in, and tuning a nitro heli rig. And also the governor setups too! Such things didn't exist when I used to fly planks.

Iím currently building a 600N. Iíve heard the Align stock in-tank fuel tubing splits and has caused a few crashes. A few people on this site have recommended Hayes Black Neoprene fuel tubing for the clunk line. Has anyone actually used this tubing for hard 3D flight? Is the tubing flexible enough to allow the clunk to bend all the way to the front of the tank?

Thanks Bob

I use Hayes black and its very good, flexable and does not kink.

How are you getting on with the 600N, I am interested how you get on with the tail, as I can not sort a tail wag at present and I see on many forums that the only way to resolve this is to upgrade to a ally Tail Grip Assembly from a Raptor.

I have pre ordered this from http://www.realraptors.co.uk/zen-car...oducts_id=2400, so see how this goes, but I am sure you will find a way to address this with the stock item or demonstrate how to build the tail correctly.

Love the vids BTW.

If you're going to get an alloy U/G go for one designed for the 600 - the Raptor unit has a tad too much travel on the the 600 and risks jamming up from flipping the elbows on the grips past the vertical unless you're careful with setup or limit the travel with a collar on the slider.

Bob,

Great videos! I'm sure they'll make my build 100x easier. Thank you...

Quick question...do you have any specific preferences on CA, oil, greases, etc? Also, you mentioned the name of a product in reference to mounting the 3 bearings for the main shaft - something goo? What was that?

Thanks,
C

I'm in the process of building my 600 Pro, but I don't have any of the components yet, like the engine, servos, gyro, governor, rx and batt, and the align 2-in-1... (money is very very tight for me)

Are there any problems with going on with the build on different parts? Could I put together the tail rotor assembly, torque tube, tail hub, and servo bell cranks up to the swash?

thanks guys!
